The shape of the floating loft on my home page was inspired by the first syllable, “규” (pronounced “gyu”) of my Korean name, Kyumin (규민). In Hanja, the meaning of the character “규” alludes to celestial stars.

Stars, despite being thousands of light-years away, still manage to reach our gaze on Earth. Just as stars weave in traces of light that stretches across the planet’s countless orbits, I strive to be a human that leaves a lasting impact on someone’s night sky, casting my own light alongside a constellation of driven individuals.

Apart from contemplating on what sort of human I want to be, I like to paint, play volleyball, and explore new tea! (so far, my favorite is blueberry black tea)
